DEV NOTES_

This is the big one. Version 1.5.0 represents months of work rebuilding Chain Crisis from the ground up. If you played earlier builds, you'll find a fundamentally different game here.

The combat and ability system has been completely redesigned. Every character now has 8 equipment slots, allowing for deep customization. Mix and match across 18 character kits spanning Melee (Ronin, Samurai, Brute, Vampire, Ravager), Range (Agent, Breacher, Mercenary, Enforcer, Gunslinger, Sniper), and Cyber (Ninja, Specter, Technomancer, Riftbreaker, Architect, Commander) categories.

The Shop system lets you spend CREDS on new gear. The Journal tracks your lore discoveries and quest progress. Missions now feature branching paths with real consequences for your choices.

This update also introduces the Subway Station story mission and a Training Area for practicing new loadouts. It's the foundation everything else will build on.

We know this is a lot of change at once. Some things might feel unfamiliar, and there will inevitably be balance issues to address. But we're confident this is the right direction for Chain Crisis. The depth is finally there.
