The Skins Preview System is finally here. This is the foundation for everything cosmetics-related in Chain Crisis—and more importantly, it's how Founder Circle members will preview their exclusive skins.
We built a full Skin Selector Widget that lets you browse and instantly preview any skin in your collection. No more guessing what something looks like equipped. What you see is what you get.
Camera controls let you toggle between portrait (head shot) and full-body views. Combined with background switching between Studio and Subway environments, you can frame your character exactly how you want for screenshots.
The ability animation preview was a late addition but it makes a huge difference. You can now see how your character performs their abilities before committing to a skin. Root motion is disabled during preview so you don't go flying off the platform.
Press / to hide the UI completely—clean screenshots without any HUD clutter.
The Fashion Store NPC is your new destination for cosmetics in the hub. And yes, all Season 0 skins are now in-game and ready for the Founder Circle launch.
On the technical side, we've updated character models to the 2023 art style (Male06-08, Female06-08 presets) and added Mythical Droid eye variants (Gold, Chrome, Red) for specimen customization.
AI got some love too—the Backpedal behavior (formerly "Kite") now properly moves to target radius before kiting. Small change, much smarter enemies.
