The Reactor

The NULLIUM REACTOR is the massive power source at the center of the Undercity. It keeps the remaining population alive—but it is unstable.

Originally part of the city's backup infrastructure, the Reactor survived the Rift buried beneath tons of rubble. Survivors learned to tap its energy, creating a faint stability field that makes life underground possible.

But the Reactor is old. Its containment systems were never designed for permanent operation. Nullium surges grow more frequent. Warning indicators flicker with each tremor from below.

The Syndicate knows this. Their plan to rebuild the PULSE ENGINE threatens to destabilize the Reactor entirely—turning the Undercity's lifeline into its grave.
